Schools Member Meetings

As a Branch, we’re trying to communicate as much as possible with our members during this difficult time, to find out what their biggest issues and concerns are.

We have been dealing with many individual issues, especially in schools, but as with all unions our strength comes from raising issues collectively.

We have held two schools members meetings on Zoom so far, the last two Thursdays at 4.30pm, but we would like more people to attend. We know that everyone is busy at work and at home so we’re currently consulting our schools members via email to find out when would be the best time for Zoom meetings, by consensus.

It’s a chance to speak to the schools convenor and also meet members in other schools to share information and concerns with others facing the same problems dealing with COVID in schools, and also raise any non-COVID issues.

If you are a UNISON member working in a school in Bolton and you aren’t receiving emails about this or other schools issues then we don’t have a current email address for you. Please let the Branch have it, or any other updates for your contact or work details, by emailing or by logging on to My Unison

As soon as we have a time for the regular meetings we will let you all know – please check your emails or back here!
